Developing Talents?

We got a new camera for Christmas, but since we bought it together, and bought it early, we've been using it a little. Mostly we have been shooting random objects in the house. With the shortened days during this lovely season, there isn't much daylight to hone our new talent. In addition, I am learning to use Photoshop. I found a tutorial that showed me about 3 things to do, so I've been practicing those few skills. I have posted a few of the first edits and hopefully we will see some improvements in the future.

What? You actually POSTED??? Hold on. I've gotta pick my jaw off the floor.

Okay. That's better. :)

Once I recovered from my shock, I remembered how jealous I am. Then I thought your pictures were cool. Then I wondered what the heck that second picture was. Then I remembered that I miss you guys. :) Keep posting these fun pics. It will be fun to follow your progress as photographers! :)

I agree with Bec, SHOCK at the new post.

If you want any pointers or anything on the camera or photoshop let me know! I'll share what limited knowledge I have. Although you do shoot with a Cannon.... tsk tsk. Jk. But only kinda.

Very nice! I especially like the first one, because I know where it came from. Where were the other two taken?

Those photos look really good! You'll have to put some more up. We have some really awesome frost on everything right now that I wish I had a cool camera to take pictures of it. Oh well. Gabe wants some handerpants to wear too. I guess we will just have to live with being jealous of you guys.

I too am shocked at the post. Thank goodness for a new camera if that's what it took to get them to post. I can't figure out the second one either. Fill us in guys. They are really good. I look forward to seeing more.

Thanks for saying nice things to me. The second picture is just a trailer in a field. Both the trailer and the truck are in a field by my work.

I like the beat up old truck. If you move to Georgia, you can find plenty of those to photograph... hint hint...
